My Travel Makeup Essentials

I’m back once again with a new blog post and this one’s specifically for all the ladies out there😊 In my last post, I’ve shared my travel essentials checklist to help you avoid any last-minute hassle before you travel. I’m going to do a deeper dive into that checklist here and talk about the essential makeup items I carry while travelling.

For makeup lovers, choosing just a few items to carry during your travel, can seem like a daunting task. To find a way around this, I try to keep my look pretty basic and minimal while I’m travelling. This is predominantly because you hardly have the time for creating a runway-ready look on a trip.

I used to carry a lot of makeup items on my travels earlier but slowly realised that I would eventually use just a few of them. So I’ve shed the excess baggage and essentially this is what I now carry:

Apart from these, here are a few other essentials that come in handy while travelling:

  • Tissues
  • Facial Wipes
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Hair brush
  • Hair ties
  • Lip balm
  • Face wash

For items such as hand sanitizer, lip balm and face wash, it’s better to carry the small travel-sized packs.

Also, if you’re a lazy bum like me when it comes to removing makeup, facial wipes can come in extremely handy.

So, what about you guys? Do share some of you travel essentials with me in the comments below. I’d love to read them!

  1. I totally related to the last point. Facial wipes are like angels for people who feel too lazy to remove their makeup.
